LGMG Grand Opening
On Thursday 23rd March, LGMG Europe officially opened the doors of its new premises to partners and customers, to celebrate together the Grand Opening Ceremony.
The new LGMG facility is located in the industrial area of Dordrecht with convenient transportation, and it’s 10 times bigger than the previous one in Spijkenisse.
In less than 5 months, the facility has been fully renovated and it includes the implementation of a new ERP system, with the aim of growing the stock in to provide a wider availability of finished products and spare parts, a faster response and complete service based on customers’ needs.
To increase fastness and efficiency, LGMG has also installed a full spare parts warehouse, implemented new offices and a state of the art training center.
Furthermore, this year LGMG will introduce more than 10 new models in its range, including telehandlers.
The Grand Opening day started at 10am with a welcoming moment of the attendees and a first round tour of the premises, including an introduction to Lithium Booms, a demo and test of the machines and a focus on parts, service and training.
After that, in the early afternoon, the official Ceremony took place in the new LGMG’s warehouse.
During the Ceremony, Vincent Vercaemst, the Sales Director of Europe, dedicated a moment to thank all the employees of LGMG Europe for reaching this great achievement in such a short time.
He also highlighted some key figures that reflect the growth experienced by the European subsidiary of LGMG and the presence and continuous expansion of local service support in place in all the key regions; the full line program ranging from 6m working height up to 30m working height.
Also Mr. Ares Song, General Manager of LGMG MEWPS Department, and Mr. Yuan Jin, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, took to the stage to give their contributions to the Ceremony.
At the end of the speeches, LGMG’s managers officially cut the ribbon and pledge together with partners and customers, toasting to LGMG’s current and future successes.
The Grand Opening day has been concluded with a moment of networking at LGMG premises with a subsequent evening dinner to further show gratefulness and strengthen communication with the attendees.
The attendees were impressed by the facility and its organization. The event’s atmosphere was pleasant and full of useful insights.
